We had to make a end of year yearbook.Then when we were finished we had to but it onto our blog.

Reflection: I had difficulty with writing about what I was going to write about but I mended to do it.

EOTC day

Walt: Connect with papatuanuku by exploring our  local area.

Ever week we do EOTC and this week we did surfing at Taipa. This week was the beast so far and I was my first time and before I did it I was nerves because I watch the shallows it's when a girl goes surfing and there was a big shark in the wave and knocked her down and then a dolphin jumped out of the water and she got a fright. Then a big shark puled her down and then bite a huge chunk of her leg then she saw a wale and went on it then the shark made the wale go in the sky but she was smart she jumped off the wale then the wale went into the sky.That was not the end but its to long to explain all of it.Well what im trying to say is I was very scared but I did it and I was good as and I did not what to get out because it was that fun.

Reflection: I had difficulty with going into the water but I found out It was amazing.

2020 Movies.

 Walt: Plan and create an movie for a specific purpose and audience using the theme Life in Lock down.

We had to have a crew and talk about what we are going to make.Then one week later past all of us has a plan and then we made the movie when we were finished we had to go around the school and shear all the movies and the teachers had to vote hows had the beast move.2 movies got in.

Hi, I'm Keylee Byford and I will be telling you the baddest thing there is due to sea levels and ice shelves. First I will write an amazing fact. Did you know the sea is getting warmer? So that means the warmer it gets the ice will melt causing the water levels to rise. 

How? Well when water gets into cracks of ice, the water goes inside it which makes it melt even faster and also makes water rise and also makes water warmer. Now that is an issue. All because of climate change and climate change is caused by human activity.

 Walt:Research the word renewable energy is and learn it's meaning. Find ways on how we can create energy that is collected from renewable resources.

We had to watch a short film about the wow word then make a google slide and then research and on the wow site it said make a gifted.

Reflection:I had difficulty with making the gifted but I got there.

This is my graph we had to use google sheets and we had to pick a north and south place and do low and high temperatures.

Reflection: I had difficulty with making the graph but I had fun with making the graph.

 Walt:Find the word 'climate' and 'weather' in the dictionary and learn it's meaning. Find the causes and effects of climate change.

We were learning about climate change so Ms Lloyd said our wow word is Climate.

Reflection:I had difficulty with doing the google drawing but I had fun learning new things about climate and what we are doing.

We had to do wow of the week we learnt about climate change so we did carbon footprint as our wow word.

Reflection:I had difficulty with making the foot but I had fun with writing about carbon footprint.

Walt:Make a dance up on coding and then get a certificate then but it on your blog.

We had to go on maths site and click a link and we had to make a dance on coding then at the end we had the screenshot and then but it on your blog.

Reflection: I had difficulty with what dance I should do but I had fun looking at them dance on coding but I thing it was really funny.

Walt:Make connections between fractions, decimals and percentages. 

We had to get our maths book,glue stick, pencil and a piece of paper that has a line on it the one on the screen and then we had to add to it our class had to do it.

Reflection:I had difficulty with finding what place to put my decimals and percentages but I had fun with putting  this on my blog so you no what our class is doing.

Reflection: I had difficulty with finding out the clues in the text but I had fun with being done and punting this on my blog.

Tuatara World Problems

 Walt: Understand decimals to the tenths, hundredths and thousandth Use decimals within word problems.

We had to go on maths site then make a slide about adding mostly about adding decimals and I made a blue and black background and people used mine but im okay with it.when we were done the side we had to upload the side and put it on our blog.And kotuku class had to go on our side and add all the equations on a piece of paper and I did kotuku class and I added it all up on a piece of paper and glued  into my maths book.

Reflection: I had difficulty with make a maths equation up but I had fun with adding it all up.

 Walt: We had to make a game to do  tuakana teina.

We had to do a game to help people how to learn there Te Reo. I did a google form and my Te Reo partner Paige did cards.

Reflections:I had difficulty finding the Te Reo words but I learnt and practice all the words to know all my Te Reo Maori words.

 Walt:Create 3D digital images on Google drawings and a blended background for calendar art.

We had create a Google drawing of something 3D or something not 3D Ms Lloyd did 3D and Ms van der voort did not 3D.I did 3D.

Reflection: I had difficult with doing my background and what my pitcher would be I had fun with picking the colour of the background.

Reflection: I had difficulty with finding all the different parts but I had fun with learning all the parts of the tripod.

Walt: know our basic facts off by heart.
What you do is add by 3 for example 1 x 3 = 3 and 1 x 6 = 6 so 3 + 3 = 6 makes 1 x 6 = 6 easy isn't it.
Reflection: I had difficulty with adding by 6 but I got there.
I like adding by 3 but the 6 x tables we're hard without Ms Lloyd I will not know how to do my time 6.

A Letter to Jacinda Ardern

Walt: Reading - Read graphs, tables and text and listen to video clips to find key information use editing tools to support the rechecking and re crafting of our Write for a particular audience and purpose.
we had to do the first paragraph as thank you and the second paragraph what we can do now the third paragraph was what we did in  lock down.  

HOW TO MAKE SPONGE CAKE

3 Eggs
Pinch of salt 
3/4 Cup caster sugar
1 Cup of Edmonds standard plain flour
1 Teaspoon Edmonds baking powder
50 g butter,melted

Mix eggs and salt.Add sugar and mix until thick.Sift flour and baking powder together.Add to egg mixture.Fold in butter.Pour into a greased and lined deep 20 cm round cake tin. Bake at 190 o C for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake springs.Leave in tin for 10 minutes to cool down.

I did 2 times tables and then added 2 by 2 all the Way to 2×16.

Reflection: I liked counting by 2 times tables but I had difficulty with putting it in line.

Did you know the sand temperature determines the gender of turtle eggs? We need to try to change Global warming to make both genders 50/50. Did you know how turtles go home at night so the moon references onto  the sea to make light ?But whoever lives by the sea and turner's there lights on brighter the baby goes towards your house and can get run over and can die so please turn your light’s of.

There are more girl eggs then boy eggs because of Global warming so please stop  burning fossil fuels and belching and keep the world from turning into a rubbish dump we all need to support the world for creatures, animals and sea thing’s. So stop making creatures extinct and killing papatuanuku. Instead see the earth don’t ruin earth, explore and discover new things. Did you know turtles lived before us and even dinosaurs ? I have a solution we need to reuse, recycle and respect. I call it the 3 r's. Do you you’s the 3 r’s? Now do you know what you're doing now and about turtle’s?

Tauranga Bay Year - 5/6 Camp

Reflection: It looked like  your at home but tents ever were  there was a lot of grass ,trees ,people and Fields. There was games like kayaking , paddle boding,photography, rip pa rugby,soccer,Kubb,beach cricket, scavenger hunt,sandcastles,team building challenges like protect the flag  on the 3'd slide  and swimming. The food was delicious were should I start OK 1: burgers + chips 2: baking 3:ice cream 2
 4: fruit. I loved game: kubb  food: ever thing . I got tided when we had dinner and walks.
